It was with profound sorrow that I woke up this past Monday morning to the news of the passing of one of the great Gedolim of our generation, my revered Rosh Yeshiva and Rebbe, Maran haRav Aharon Lichtenstein zt'l, Rosh Yeshiva of Yeshivat Har Etzion and Rosh Kollel at Yeshiva University.
In the past I have had many opportunities to share his wisdom, and I hope to continue to do so in the future. Rav Aharon's influence has been so formative in developing my outlook on life, and his loss is keenly felt.
With a heavy heart, but filled with gratitude for all that I gained from this towering figure, I wanted to share a number of resources for those interested in learning more about this great man:
- a tremendous bibliography of Rav Lichtenstein's articles, prepared by Rabbi Dov Karoll http://etzion.org.il/
vbm/archive/Bibliography-web. htm - the most recent edition of Tradition, dedicated to his thought http://
traditiononline.org/ including a biographical sketch http://traditiononline.org/pdfs/47.4/Zuckier-Carmy. pdf - a tribute video produced by Yeshivat Har Etzion for a dinner in his honor https://www.youtube.com/
watch?v=SI3dWibBxgY - hundreds of audio shiurim http://www.yutorah.

May his memory & teachings inspire us to live lives of even greater depth and meaning. Have a great Shabbos.
