A wonderful world of learning, growing, and building Jewish memories awaits your child in our early childhood program. Our program is designed to meet the individual needs of children and their parents.

What We Offer

Congregation Israel’s nursery program, which is licensed by DYFS (Division of Youth and Family Services), offers nursery school and summer programs for children ages 2 to 5. Part-time and full-day options are available during the school year while our summer program meets daily 9:00-1:00. Extended care is available as needed for both school and summer camp.

Our Curriculum

Through creative approaches, children have many opportunities to explore reading, math, and science concepts. Woven throughout the program is discussion of Jewish values and Israel, as well as Shabbat and holiday celebrations. Our classrooms have multiple learning centers designed to engage children’s imaginations and creativity, and accommodate diverse learning styles.

Our Staff

Our staff is dedicated, warm, caring, and creative. Each teacher is trained in CPR and First Aid, and regularly participates in various education workshops. Under the guidance of our experienced director, teachers incorporate various approaches to enhance children’s learning experience.
